These leaves are grown on the “spice tree” or “bay rum tree” in St. Lucia where they are then harvested and sun dried. Although bay leaves are better known as a spice for cooking, the leaves hold many health benefits when consumed as a tea. Bay leaf tea is rich in vitamin A, vitamin C, calcium, iron, potassium, and magnesium. This tea promotes healthy digestion, fights constipation, eases acid reflux, and regulates your bowel movements.
